Achilles UVDB is the utilities industry pre-qualification system used across the UK that helps utility companies manage risk within their supply chain and comply with international procurement legislation. Being a UVDB supplier enables us to use Achilles’ proven supplier pre-qualification system.
Association for Decentralised Energy
We’re proud members of the ADE, the leading trade association for decentralised energy (Combined Heat & Power, District Heating & Cooling, Demand Side Services, and Energy Efficiency), representing more than 130 interested parties from across the industrial, commercial and public sectors.
BEAMA
BEAMA is the UK trade association for manufacturers and providers of energy infrastructure technologies and systems. Its members products ensure low carbon energy and environmental services are delivered safely, securely and efficiently to UK homes, businesses, transport and grid networks.
Constructionline – Gold Member
Constructionline is a register for pre-qualified contractors and consultants. Used by the construction industry in the UK, the database is accessed by over 2,000 organisations including central government, local authorities & main contractors.
Electrical Contractors Association
ECA is the UK’s leading trade association representing and supporting the interests of electrotechnical and building engineering services contractors. ECA member organisations are accredited to the highest industry standards and certifications across all aspects of electrotechnical design, installation, inspection, maintenance, testing and monitoring.
Energy & Utilities Alliance
Membership of the EUA Metering Services Group group is open to companies involved in the provision of metering services – Manufacturers, Meter Asset Managers (MAMs), Meter Operators (MOPs) and Meter Asset Providers (MAPs) as well as those organisations involved in training and the development of training standards in the metering industry.
Energy Storage Ireland
Energy Storage Ireland is a representative association for those active in the development of energy storage in Ireland and Northern Ireland, working together to promote the benefits of energy storage to decarbonise Ireland’s energy system and engage with policy makers.
GIRS
The Gas Industry Registration Scheme is for accredited Utility Infrastructure Providers (UIPs) to carry out works associated with the design and construction of new gas infrastructure, including new gas connections, services alterations and disconnections.
Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR)
SMS is a qualified supplier of gas connections and metering services for the aerospace, defence, and security sectors, accredited through JOSCAR.
NERS
The National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) is operated on behalf UK Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and assesses Independent Connection Provider (ICP) on works associated with the installation of electrical connections, such as design of new connections to the network, and installation of electrical switches and transformers.
NICEIC – Approved Contractor
We are approved by the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC), the UK’s largest voluntary register of electrical businesses, which assesses over 36,000 businesses to ensure that the installation work they undertake meets the standards expected to keep customers and the general public safe.
Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC)
We are a member of the RECC, which sets out high consumer protection standards for businesses involved in selling or leasing renewable energy generation systems to domestic consumers.
Retail Energy Code (REC)
As of 2021, all metering codes from the previous MRA and SPAA bodies transitioned to REC, this includes all Meter Equipment Managers (MEM) accreditations (MOP/MAP/MAM). The REC represents a step-change for the metering industry with a mission to elevate customer outcomes through promoting innovation and competition

SafeContractor is the market leading accreditation for any trade, assessing business on their health and safety, equal opportunities, diversity and environmental management practices, and allowing customers to reduce risk in their supply chain.
Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Solutions (VCIS)
The Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Solutions (VCIS) agreement, part of the Crown Commercial Service Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) framework, offers customers in central government and the wider public sector access to products and services that support electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.
